Why is our dance different?

Because we've taken the "Silly-Funny-Corny" affect out of "The Hustle" and made it a constant rotation of surprises for both lead and follow. This lyrical style of dance (a syncopated 3, 4, and 6 count pattern) combines many dance disciplines- Mambo, Rumba, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Street Hustle, New York Hustle, Hip Hop, and more. Michael designed this Fusion style of dance with Patty, his wife of 19 years. " We don’t consider this Hustle a competition style of the dance, yet you will be able to dance anywhere as "Lead or Follow" to Top 40, R&B, Rock, Latin and more. We'll show you the patterns, embellishments and combinations which allow one to become the music". If you ever want people to watch you on the dance floor and be in the best shape of your life, this Fusion style Hustle is for you. It will holistically change you for the better as you discover your inner dance capabilities. Learn something fun and new as well as meet a variety of people who just want to dance. So if you're looking for change, you'll never have a chance unless you take one. The music is as important as the dance so we incorporate past & present music genres. Michael & Patty are also available for private lessons working with both lead & follow.

Below, Mike's Dancing with Jeffery and Ron here at an event in 2009. As you can see you will learn 2 disciplines when Michael Teaches. Michael retains a specific set of skills; it was the only thing that kept him out of trouble in his early years. He's found a new Art, Dancing.

Note: The Martial Art Michael learned years ago was for Men and Women, Offense or Defense. Now it’s just Lead or Follow, we suggest all dancers learn both. You’ll just be that much better and have much more. The guys above are in their 50's, we do this 2-3 times per week for 2-3 hours per night. Stuffs Addictive!
